Lazio’s team had more power in the first half, but failed to punish Matia Perrin.

Surprisingly, Genoa took the lead after 55 minutes of playing. The hosts were punished by their former idol Goran Pandev. The Macedonian was about to get a perfect pass from Andrei Galabinov. The ball, however, was touched by Lazio’s defender, who only “placed” it for the experienced shooter who ruthlessly punished Strakosha for 0: 1.

The balance was regained in the 59th minute, when Marco Parolo scored for 1:1.

At the 78th minute, Genoa reached its second goal in the match, but it was canceled after checking the video replay system. The referee, Fabio Maresca, judged that Diego Laxalt had taken the ball with his left hand, and that’s why the joy of his shot was irrevocably lifted.

The drama of this match came in the second minute of the added time. The fate seemed to get back to the “griffins” after Diego Laxalt again scored a goal and this time it was all within the rules. Lazio’s defense has completely forgotten about the shorter Diego Laxalt, who took advantage of Oscar Hiljemark’s centering and scored for final 2:1.
